IH 140 hydraulic problems

I was plowing corn yesteday and noticed that the hydraulic pump sounded like it was constanly under pressure. The lift worked fine, the pump quite squiling when I would raise the cultivators up or down, but the rest of the time I could hear the pump.

Is there a releave valve on it that may be struck or could something else be wrong?

I would appreciate any help
