Tonight I plan on changing the oil in my Super M, and I would like to confirm some things. In the manual they do not tell you how to do it because you are supposed to take it "to your local IH dealer for repairs." Well, that's bull crap. I'm changing it, and so sue me if I screw it up. Now, a no brainer, I pull the plug in the bottom, but how do I get it to drop out of the pan? I was told that there is a valve below the oil filter I am supposed to pull at the same time at the bottom plug, but it is harder than h-e double L to pull out from the outside of the frame. A friend just told me to pull the side valves, so I will probably do that, but I thought I would post to see if any of you guys have any tricks you would like to pass along. Thanks for all the help, and I will probably post a follow-up on one of your posts someday, too.
