I agree with jal-SD, it is caused by red hot carbon in the combustion chamber. To get some of the carbon out, I have been told to get it up to operating temp. and disconnect the air intake hose at the carb. and take some ICE COLD water in a spray bottle and spray it lightly into the carb. and the water will hit the carbon and it will make it come loose and get blow out the exhaust. Spray the water slowly or the engine will stall and make sure you have the coldest water you can get. When the motor is doing this the motor is actually running backwards and it is definitley not good for it.
