Farmall Super C carb!!!!! HELP!!!

I have a super c Farmall i just rebuilt the motor, And it runs fine but the carb,i had on that tractor i had to take off and put on another Farmall. So i got this carb and when it was last on a tractor, it ran fine and it sat for a while so i tore it down to check every thing out and i made a new gasket for it and put it back on. Now when i start it,it runsgood for about 5min then cuts out when i choke it, it comes back and runs good for another 5min and the same thing all over again. So what do yall reckin it is? and yes it is one of those darn Carter Carbs. Thanks !!!!!
