Thanks for the reply. One thing that came to mind after I had posted my question is that there is a "whining" sound coming from the front of the tractor. (It's the same sound as when cranking too far on a car's steering wheel and you reach the end stop, but the pump is trying to work.) The sound diminishes when I turn the wheel, etc. With that said, is there too much pressure being put on the pump by a bad relief valve (which would cause the lines to heat up)? I have the IT manual and Parts book, so feel confident that I could rebuild the Load/Pressure Relief/Priority valve. What about the check valve (fast hitch control), should that be rebuilt as well? I do have a little bleed out in the system. Thanks for the help.
