Boil block with sleeves in it?

I've got a 1941 H that I'm redoing. The cylinders are within spec, and the pistons appear fine. I want to have the block boiled to remove 50+ years of accumulated gunk, so that I can run modern multi-viscosity detergent oil in it after the rebuild. My question to the board: is it necessary to remove the sleeves prior to boiling the block? My local Case IH dealer wants to charge about $50 to remove the sleeves. If I pull 'em out, I'm probably looking at replacing sleeves and pistons, so my rebuild cost is going to be about $400 higher than replacement of rings and bearings alone. Thanks for your thoughts on the matter. Head is in the machine shop right now. When done, this tractor will not be a daily worker -- more of a weekend warrior. WI Red.
