Does anyone here know if there were any real differences between the different models in the 66 series, i.e. frames, rear diffs, etc. I know the 86 series, all the models had the same wheelbases, close to the same overall lengths and heights, etc, but in the later 30 and 50 series, these were different between the two. Basically what I guess I'm asking is, if you parked a 766, 966, 1066, 1466 next to each other, without the decals, is there a size difference (other than the tires, of course), or were they all built on the same frame, axles, etc. just with different engines? Oh and how big where the fuel tanks on them? I've been looking for old sales literature but no luck. Thanks in advance.
