Hey ya'll, I have some questions about my M. My dad just gave me a '48 Farmall M that once belonged to my grandpa. This tractor has been sitting out in the weather for about 15+ years and I have decided to bring it back to life once I get a shop built to work on it in. This'll be my frist time restoring anything so I don't really know what I'm in for. But anyway, my dad said that he thought that it had a Super kit put in it, but he wasn't 100% sure. So my question is, how can I tell if a Super kit has been put on it? What does a Super kit consist of? Also, ballpark figure....around what would it cost to completely restore this tractor? The engine is locked up, all sheet metal is there but rusty, tires have rotted. I realize that this may be a hard question to answer(especially without a pic) but I was just wondering. Thanks in advance for your help. Thanks, Jason
