504 vrs 544?

Could some one please tell me the main differences between the Farmall 504 and a Farmall 544. I would like to find a 544 gas engine but there seems to be none in my area for sale, but there is some 504's. Do they both have live pto, power steering, same amount of power? I spent many years on a 544 and would like to get that same old feeling back.
