I have a Farmall 504 (there are some differences between Farmall 504's and International 504's), and according to my research it does not have cylinder sleeves. Seems like most other Farmal/International gas engings have cylinder sleeves. This is important in rebuilding the engine, as the sleeves will allow you to rebuild to original spec's without changing the balance dynamics. And it should be lower cost, since you can do more of the work in your own shop. Unless your 544 is another one of those that does not have cylinder sleeves, I think you'd be better off rebuilding your original engine. Good luck WW
