I know this is off topic, but I am going to have to remove a barn on the site where I am soon going to start construction of a home. My dilemna is do I let an individual who wants the materials remove it or just "push" it down? My obvious concern is liability while the guy is working on my property (getting injured). Anyone have any experiences with this type thing? I am considering having him sign a liability release and tear it down. He is wanting the materials to restore a barn he has, and I would prefer to see the material used rather than lost. I am the 3rd generation owner of the barn, and hate to lose it, but really prefer the site for my house enough to sacrifice it, and am limited in where I can build.
