After totally restoring a Farmall MD one day I made the mistake of adding up the amount I spent (this is just what I had receipts for) and I can see why someone would want $12,000 - $15,000 as I spent about $9000 in parts. Rebuilding the engine was the big expense especially the injector pump and injectors. Roger
