I was about 10 yrs old, early part of 1979.I was out in the yard playing baseball with a buudy of mine and my brother. This power company truck came up the road, normally wouldnt think about.well he turned down the road just up from us,it accually kinda just bares off to the left.About he same time my brother threw the ball to my buddy,we heard this kinda loud racket, like something in the back of the power comapny truck was roling around in the back of the truck, then a thud. The truck kept going so we didnt think that much about it.The "store" was within walking distance so after about an hour of throwing the ball we decided to go get a Coke and when we got ot the other road there lay this bright orange generator!Roled it over and looked at it,only thing wrong was thee gas tank had dented in pretty bad,one of the legs on the generator was broken off and the spark plug broke. We quickly drug it home and Dad put a new tank on it,new plug and painted red.THe thing still works pretty good after 20 some odd yrs!
