I am just a little hobby farmer with and an 80, but two of my brothers still farmer over 3000 acres. In the winter one usually drives a semi while the other takes care the cattle and selling hay. Open any news paper and half the job adds are for truck drivers, the other half is usually for nurses. Not exactly your own business but there are worse things, I worked at IBP in the winter when I was trying to farm full time. After three years of living on 5 months pay while the farm produced nothing I chucked it all and went to college.
