Soon as I got the tractor (July 1, 2002) I cleaned the whole intake system all fluid change etc. Always kepted fresh oil in bath. I'm a pretty picky maintenance schedule kind of person. Overhauled 4 years ago with about 200 hrs on it. valve job etc. Know owner no bull$hitter. Ran great until new manifold. When new plugs in no smoke. when 2 and 3 go bad, black smoke. Carb adj don't do jack squat. New manifold w/ gaskets. Plugs have fuel wet no oil! I run Autolite 3116 plugs what number would be hotter. I'll check the carb out as well. Keep yall posted!
