I replaced the seal on the trans. side of the lift-all drive shaft. I took that round nut off with a pipewrench and then tightened it back up with a pipewrench. Was it ok to tighten up that slotted round nut with a pipewrench. I want to double check this, my shaft was kind of tight before I took it apart and now it has a little wobble in it. If I just put the round nut on finger tight, because the shaft turns counter clockwise, the round nut would loosen up as it turns there by tightining up the drive shaft. Then I was figuring that if it were to do that too much, it would be like a screw press into the lift-all. Was it ok to tighten up that round not with a pipewrench or leave it finger tight??? Thanks.
