Bill, that definetly appears to be a 606. Actually, from the looks of the grill, it appears to be a 2606. 2606 was the Industrial version of the 606. IH made alot of Industrial models based on farm tractors, and signified it by putting a "2" in front of the model number. There was the 2606, 2706, 2806, 21206, 2656, 2756, 2856, 21256, 21456, 2826, 21026, ect. (based on the 606, 706, 806, 1206, 656, 756, 856, 1256, 1456, 826, and 1026). I don't know too much about Industrial models, but I know some of them had foot throttles and no PTO.
