I don't think these usually run that hot, especially doing light work. You might want to check to see if radiator is plugged, that would account for no draft on the front. Might also check timing as that will make them overheat. Check fan belt to be sure it is turing fan sufficiently. Could also be that thermostat is stuck but think it would overheat all the tme then. It will probably run hotter as you have thinner cylinder walls.
