We removed the thermostat before we bored the motor out. We put some radiator acid in it, and it helped a little. The radiator was cleaned about 3 months before we bored the motor. The motor also only has about 5 hours tops on it. The timing is right on as well. The fan belt is fairly tight, and it turns the fan as fast as it should. It blows a lot of air back, but there is barely air movement through the grill. I flushed the radiator out by removing the drain plug at the bottom, good water flow outwards, with the hose filling it at the top as well. Then I removed the plug on the side of the block, good flow also, and I know that water is getting there because cold water would follow after I put the hose and filled the radiator while letting it flow out through the block. I took the temp gauge out w/ the radiator cap on and water cam out. Tried it w/ radiator cap off, and it flowed even more.
