My SMTA had problems lifting a haybine and other equipment. I put a hydraulic gauge tester on it and it tested out at about 500psi. I put another hydraulic pump (used) on it and now it shows about 2200psi. Here's the problem: When I test it when I first start it, it shows 2200psi. After about 3 minutes it drops down to about 1000psi. The Char-Lynn power steering doesn't seem to work properly. It does work but it feels choppy and harder to turn then it should. (The hydraulic oil is full) I have some pictures at www.sonnentag.com that shows how the hydraulics lines are connected. Do I have some lines screwed up or what? Please let me know any ideas that may be the problem. Thanks.
