Sometimes it is something simpler than we look for. We get involved in a bigger process than we need to. I have been working on my 1952 M for over a month in my spare time with the same type of problem. I just got it started two days ago. I ended up with a corroded contact. I took each electrical contact off one by one. I then sanded each contact point and wire connector to a bright surface and used dielectric grease on each connection. (I bought the dielectric grease in the electrical department at a home improvement store. It costs less and comes in a larger quantity than from the auto store.) I turned over the tractor and TADA. Good Luck DE M Man
