I HAVE REMOVED THE WIRE TO THE MAG, BUT EVEN WITH IT REMOVED I IS STILL SHOWING A SHORT TO GROUND AT THE WIRE TERMINAL. I DONT KNOW WHAT ELSE COULD CAUSE THIS TYPE OF SHORT IN THE MAG. I DID CHECK MOST OF THE WIRING FOR SHORTS AND FOUND BARE SPOTS TO FRAME AND REPAIRED THEM. THE ONLY WAY I HAVE FOUND TO REMOVE THE SHORT IN TO TAKE OUT THE COIL, BUT IF THE COIL IS IN THE MAG. I STILL SHOW A SHORT TO THE TERMINAL (WITH THE POINTS OPEN).EVEN WITH ALL THE EXTERNAL WIRING REMOVED IT SHOULD FIRE THE MAG. RIGHT? (AS IF YOU WERE HAND STARTING )
