As some know I have a Super A with a woods belly mower on it. Have used it hard for the last 5 years, and love it. I would put it up against any new tractor/ mower. This year when putting it on when tightening the belt it broke the belt - no problem it was several years old. Next time to mow the grass the center spindle broke taking the belt with it. I purchased a shop press, disassembled the assembly put in a new spindle new belt and back to mowing. Then the bearing on one of the ideler pulleys froze, yep ruined the belt. Credit the parts man who suggested replacing both the ideler bearings at the same time. Made sense to me so I did. Good thing I had the shop press. Ok now this week the bearings went out on the left spindle and of course another belt ruined. Went ahead and replaced left and right spindel bearings. and the belt. In all this belt changing I seen to have lost the knack for the twists to get the belt right, you know 1/2 twist here 3/4 twist there put it on one time ant it is wrong next time will be right. What am I doing wrong? At the end of my belt Jerry
