I recently acquired a PD-40 power unit. The starting carb is the brass type like on the Regular where the air flows through it in a spiral. I bought the ops manual for it, and it tells how to set the idle speed, but makes no mention of mixture screws. There is a knurled knob on the top that looks like it should be the high speed adjustment that was out about two turns. Then there is another screw in the bottom that maybe could be idle mixture. Any idea what these should be set at? Also, this unit is missing its air filter and intake pipe. I will post an ad in the classifieds, but before I do, are there any salvage yards that have anything in the way of 40 series parts? I know they are pretty rare. None of the yards I usually buy from have anything. Any suggestions appreciated, thanks guys.... Brian
