taking cab off of 1466, and don't know what to do

taking the cab off of a 1466, it has the short white style of IH cab, not the long white or red cab, nor the year-a-round cab. It has two hoses coming from each front corner, can i just take the hoses off on the block, and put plugs in them, or do they HAVE to serculate?
