All, I need to make up some new gaskets for the hydraulics on a '50 C -- between the pump and the engine block, between the pump and the transfer lines, and between the transfer lines and the resevoir. What's the appropriate gasket material to use? I suppose it needs to be setup for high pressure and high temp, right? My local Checker's has a synthetic cork-like material plus something else that's grey and feels like paper. Also...any particular sort of gasket sealant that I should use? (I suspect that sticky purple stuff I'm using other places is too soft for the high pressures...) Many thanks, - David
