I don't think you will see oil coming out around the rocker arm shaft, on the F-20,you have to oil the rockers by hand through the oil caps on top of the valve cover. as for the rods, they are dipper type, if you have oil in the dipper troff you have oil pressure. He may have to pack the pump with light grease like on the GM products with the fromt mounted oil pumps.
