And make sure you only check one at a time, I've had to fix too many with swapped main or rod caps :( Remember that these assy's (either rods or mains) are machined as a pair and the caps are not interchangeable. If you are experiencing any oil pressure problems and it is possible that anyone has worked on your motor in the past, I would check for swapped caps first. The mains aren't marked, check for obvious loosness in the crank (pull on fan belt, and gently pry up on ring gear), the rods should be stamped with matching position numbers on one side of the rod.
