Super M - hydraulic lever position?

On a Super M with live hydraulics, what position should the lever be in?

Not sure if it matters but my plumbing goes from pump to a 2 spool valve. From valve to resevoir.

Also, the spool for the loader is a 4 way (2 way hydraulics), loader cylinders are one way hyd. So one of the hoses on that spool goes to one of the connections by your left foot. Is that alright?
