Both of us (SM and SH) have external 2 spool valves so we can run buckets and lift the loader at the same time. You are correct, he can turn off his hydraulics with the resevoir lever and does if he has to hand crank it. I'll never hand crank so not a concern either way. To clarify, my main question is is either way better as far as quickness of hydraulic movement, pressure, etc. My hydraulics hesitate, not sure if its a weak pump or if it is the hose routing. I don't know enough about hydraulics to know if there is more pressure and gpm by going from the resevoir or the pump.
