my super C was leaking gas at the carb end of the pipe which goes from the air filter to the carb. i looked at it and the needle valve looked bad (is a carter UT) so thirty bucks ater ive put the new valve in, still leaks. the pipe is pretty nasty looking and i dont think is gonna last much longer but i dont wanna puta new pipe on because if the gas collects in the air filter and it backfires through the carb bad things will happen. what do i do, oh and when i pull the throttle all the way back the gas still leaks or was that just the gas in the carb? small amounts of gas are in the oil cup on the bottom of the air filter container. there is no oil in the cup (i dont know why should i fill it?)
