Dick: I will be willing to bet money that 300 and 350 Farmalls and Utilities share a lot more common parts than any of them do with the Farmall H. I know just a weee bit more about this than you might think. My dad and I bought both a Farmall H and a Farmall 300 new, and while the H didn't stay around for a lot of years, I did have the 300 for 35 years. Over the years that old 300 was rebuilt a lot of times as it has about 25,000 hours on it today. Between the crank nut on front of engine to either the rubber on the ground or end of pto shaft there are only 3 power train items different between a given Farmall and Utility. 1. Reduction gears for pto. 2. Rear axle 3. Rear wheel and tire. I am excluding hydraulics and belt pullies. I also suspect the 300 and 350 engines are a lot more closely related to each other than either are to the H.
