Were They Serious

I was recently looking through some old advertisements, when I came upon a IH 4100.
The photo they showed had it pulling an 8 bottom plow. That had to be a huge load. My neighbor pulls a 4 bottom w/ his and he said it is a load sometimes.Has anyone ever pulled a 8 bottom w/ a 4100, or were they just trying to make the tractor look bigger than it really is?
