I could find no resistor in the line but did not trace it all the way back either. Where is it normally located? If I don't have one, where should it go and where do I get one? Can't get to an IH dealer for a couple weeks. My coil says "Only use with resistor" right on it. I did just get the tractor but have hard time believing somebody used it without the proper setup. The non-factory wiring is quite old appearing so my guess is it has been some time since the 12v conversion.
