I'm quite sure he's supplying me with a one wire alternator. So I guess I'll have one ammeter wire running to the battery stud on the foot starter switch. One ammeter wire running to the on(run)switch. I'll then need a wire from the run switch to a ballast resistor and then to the coil. No need for the warning light or voltage regulator any more? Then I can run the one wire from the alternator to the battery stud on the foot starter to charge the battery. Sound correct?
