some mighty good information and all that I can use to remove the pump. As I receive more and more information, it points to the fact I do, indeed have a CAV pump vs the original thought being Roosa Master. Your experience with the CAV or 30 years ago is outstanding. For I have found the marks ajaceant the mounting stud. I have the pump partially disassembled on the tractor but reluctant to remove it as I did not know how to maintain the correct time. Your explanation of removing the cover on the fan side of the gear drive is one I had not given thought. Now things are beginning to make more sense to this 60 year old man who is not as smart on things as I'd like to be. I believe I can make it from here with your very good explanations. Should I error in my thoughts this AM and find some more obstacles, I shall write them in this forum once again. Hopefully I don't have any more issues. However, if I may please keep posted to this forum for a few more days. THANKS and THANKS A LOT!
