I bought an (h) last month , it has been repainted and looks good, but smokes pretty bad, which probably means rings or valve's and guides, After buying it I also found out that it pops out of 4th gear, you cant keep it 4th if you wanted too. It does have new tires on it. I paid 1,000.00 for mine. One thing I would check on the one that you are looking at is to make sure that it doesent pop out of 4th or 5th gear. From what I have read on this site it is a very common problem on h's and m's. But even if it does pop out of either of those gears it still sounds like a pretty good deal. From what I have read the poping out of gear issue is either a worn shifter, or bad gear in the transmission.Overall what you described sounds like a good deal "to me" but it all depends who you ask, beacause everyone as an opinion. Good luck Jon Mirgon
