I am new to the tractor scene and am still trying to get the hang of what is a good price and what is not. I live in Illinois and have the chance to buy a Farmall H for $1250. It is just the tractor but it is in excellent running shape (Clutch, transmission, brakes, hydrualics & pto are in fine shape) and the engine starts and runs good. The tractor also has been recently painted so it looks sharp. The tires are in good shape with only minimal checking. Is $1250 a good price for this? It appears to me that it is but don't really have the experience to know. Also, how hard is it to find a loader for the H? Any other newbie advice you can give me is appreciated! Griz
