JRM, you are worried about the dipstick??? I would caution you not to get too excited about this find. In the condition you described, the owner ought to pay you to take it away. The block might be of interest to someone, but is too heavy to ship (too expensive). A good radiator might be worth salvaging too. F12/14 that are all there but rough are still easy to find for a few hundred bucks. Since you said this is at a scrap yard, if you want the parts you might offer the guy scrap rates. Seriously about the dipstick: I haven't seen one on any F12 or F14. I am not a historian to say for sure, but you might have a much newer block on the old frame.
