Paul: My dad always had a wire hook on the loader frame of the H. He liked the rope going along side, and always used soft enough wire for the hook that would just straighten out. He once hitched the plow just to plow his garden, hook was missing so he just threw the rope over his right knee. He thought he knew the garden soil well enough plow wouldn't trip. It did and the wip lash effect caused knot and loop on end of rope to hit him in the groin area. Needless to say the hook on loader frame became a more perminant fixture.
