Tony - At the bottom of the pivot shaft first there's a spacer (the piece that was missing on my tractor) then the thrust bearing. The thrust bearing has a "top" and "bottom". You can tell by inspection which is which - make sure you don't install the bearing upside down! The pivot shaft seals will remain in place when you remove the pivot shaft. Unless you're gonna replace the pivot shaft bushings you can simply leave the seals alone. The sector gear may be difficult to remove from the busted pivot shaft. It's on a tapered spline and usually requires several good licks from a fair sized hammer to break free. Be careful support the sector gear so as not damage it when knocking the shaft out! One more tip: Make sure the new pivot shaft is in the "straight ahead" position before installing the sector gear, and that the sector gear is centered on the worm gear. And remember to put the lower bolster mounting bolt with the extended head in the right front bolster flange bolt hole. Hope this helps!!
