Thanks for the replies fellas. Thanks for the pictures too Bob. I went back outside after my first post to get a better look at things. After some more disassembly I discovered what both of you diagnosed, the shaft is broken. It broke right where the small diameter turns into the large diameter section of the shaft. The gears and brass bushings don't look to bad. Bob, in your pictures you said that you made some spacers and that the thrust bearing was improperly installed. Could you explain the order of installation with the seals, washers and thrust bearing? Thank you very much!
