Will a 806 wfe fit a Farmall M?

I have a 706 and was looking for a wfe for it. I found someone that claims to have a wfe that he thinks was originally on a 806 but is now on a M tractor. Is this possible? Is there anything I should have him double check before assuming it will fit? He also says he has a wfe off a farmall 666 but he thinks the 806 one is better. Would the 666 work? Thanks,
