I just had the experience of putting a WF from a 656 (same as an 806 WF) on a 666. The 666 is supposed to have a different WF than the 06, 26, 56 series tractors. Most components of the two (spidles etc) are the same, but the 666 (686 too) WF has a different (shorter) yolk back to the support bracket. So, the holes won't line up with the holes in the 706 frame. You might be able to drill new holes (it's what we did with our 666) although you can have issues with the holes lining up perfectly with your engine mounts (we did). Going from a 666 to a 706 might be easier than the reverse, I don't know. I would do a lot of measuring before I bought the 666 WF to mount on an 06 or 56 series tractor. I'm not saying it can't be done, but it might be challenging. I might be willing to trade my WF for the one off the 666 depending on location and condition of the WF. Mine is in excellent shape.

If i said that this was a little frustrating for him that would be "conservative" in fact the problem had reduce
