Paul: I'm happy you finally found your problem. I apologise for missing your last post, but i've been under the weather. I have seen many T.A.'s come in with the gears stripped. Basically those gears get to wearing after so much use and finally give. Most likely all three planets are stripped as well as the primary(input) shaft and quite possibly the output(main shaft). You would do well to get a rebuilt T.A. and sprague. It should come with a good warranty(on parts only) of at least a year and in some cases five years on the sprague. Make sure to contact Kelly C because he got a heck of a pice in my opinion for rebuilt T.A. w/sprague. As to whether the sprague is better than the old style ramps, I cannot give you first hand accounts of use. BUT just by looking at an old style sitting next to a sprague there is no comparison. You go from 8 cylinder locks to 32 camlocks. Unless you beat this tractor to death this sprague will probably outlast anything you want to do with this tractor. I wish I had pictures to show you the difference and maybe someone(possibly Kelly C) could post them on the forum. Peace be with you this holiday season!

No. I am just happy to have their friendship. At least the word "farmer" is in my title. But what is the attraction? How can I explain the sensation and exhilaration I feel when I turn the key and hear the engine come to life (most
