Probably water freezing in the differential. Do not be too energetic when it will not move. Might cause other damage. Drain the differential and change the oil in it and you will probably be fine. I assume this just started when it started to freeze outside. Did the tractor sit outside and possibly take on water ? The deck bolts are resessed and can act like funnels to draw the water into the differential and transmission area. Even a small electric heater overnight directed on the differential by the drawbar will probably melt the ice that needs to be drained. When you first pull the rear plug the water should stream out before the oil starts to run. Also, remember there is a front drain plug also. The majority of the grease comes out the rear plug. Been there done that. Let me know how it turns out. Jim
