Clutch disc install

I'm trying to put my IH 340 tractor back together, but I did not originally remove the clutch and the replacement is not marked. Can somebody tell me which way to install the disc since my I&T manual only states "removal and installation is obvious"? Do the springs on the disc go toward the flywheel or the pressure plate? Also, the replacement pressure plate has the finger adjustments painted over like they are pre-set, but should I expect to follow the sdjustment procedure in the manual?
