I have talked to one of my fellow pullers in my area, and he said that he has found a combine motor that would drop right into my 560 gas. It needs an overhaul pretty bad, but she sounds good. Only 50 horse on the dyno, with massive blowby. My questions, would I have to change the radiator to keep the motor cool? I plan to pull it, and use it around the farm. How much would a used motor possibly go for? She would pull excellent 1st torque back in the 10000 weighing 10100 pounds, without killing the motor. Any other things that I will have to look out for, or change?? Feel free to offer any advice you may have. Thanks!!
