If it a gas model engine,, If you retune the carb to give it fuel,, it should not get hot. Unless the thermostat is sticking, or the wrong temp range, ignition timing is off, or something internal is wrong, a properly tuned carb that will not allow a lean condition in the cyl, it should stay cool. Heck, that 460H has that 403 engine in it, and I have an H radiator hooked up to it, and I have ran it on the dyno with a 190 thermostat it runs about 185-190 degrees. And that was working it kinda hard. Just my 2 cents,, Chad
