NOTHING lasts two years if it sees any sun. Two months is more like it, don't really care what it is. I'm not saying it will look like 20 year old faded paint after only two months, but it will fade unless it is inside all the time. There are many products on the market. As one post below says, you need an abrasive -- Either buy a two step cleaner-wax, or get some Turtle Wax polishing compound or equivalent, or for more abrasiveness, Turtle Wax rubbing compound (be careful or you won't have amy paint left!) and follow it with wax. I assume you are talking about old enamel paint -- don't use any of this stuff on base-clear, or you might not have any clear left. Always try a small area first to see what it does.
